The movie revolves around the life of Devki Sabarwal (Sridevi), a school teacher who lives happily with her husband (Adnan Siddiqui) and daughter (Sajal Ali). Things take an unexpected turn in her life when her daughter gets raped by Jagan (Abhimanyu Singh).

The victim soon files a complaint against the culprits, but due to lack of evidence, all of them were set free by a court.
This creates disbelief in the mind of Devaki towards the Indian judiciary, and now, she alone sets out for a war against evil, and in this journey, she is aided by Daya Shankar Kapoor (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a private detective. As she provides wild justice to the victim, she became noticed by Matthew Francis (Akshaye Khanna), a straightforward cop.
