There are rumors that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are already engaged. According to Life And Style Magazine, the "Game Of Thrones" couple are already engaged. The engagement reportedly happened when Harington took Leslie to a romantic candle-lit dinner and popped the big question there.
Leslie reportedly burst into tears and said "yes" to Harington's proposal. Their engagement does not necessarily come as a surprise to their fans as they recently celebrated a major relationship milestone when they moved in together.
However, it's worth noting that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have yet to confirm the news about their engagement.
In fact, a lot of friends and family were already waiting for Kit Harington to propose to Rose Leslie, including Nicole Kidman, who jokingly pressured the "Game Of Thrones" actor to propose to his long-time girlfriend after they moved in together. The bantering between Harington and Kidman happened when they were both guests on "The Late Late Show With James Corden."
The wedding planning begins
Now that they are reportedly engaged, the couple is apparently in the early stages of wedding planning. According to Life And Style Magazine, the couple wants to ditch the Hollywood scene and prefer to get married in Leslie's hometown, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The bride-to-be reportedly wants to hold a traditional Scottish wedding, complete with kilts and bagpipes. It won't be the first time that Kit Harington will be seen wearing similar outfits, as his role as Jon Snow in "GOT" wears pretty much the same thing as traditional Scottish outfits.
The couple has already been marked as a low-profile couple, which had made them an open target for breakup rumors and third-party speculations in the past.
In fact, Harington has been perennially linked to "GOT" co-star, Emilia Clarke, but they have both denied being in a romantic relationship while filming the series.
'Game Of Thrones' in Scotland
Now that "GOT" season 7 is already up and running, it's safe to say that Harington now has more time on his hands. With their upcoming wedding which could possibly take place in Leslie's hometown, fans are expecting a lot of "GOT" stars to fly to Scotland to attend the special event.
As of writing this, reps for Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have yet to comment on the issue. However, at the rate that things seem to be going in terms of their relationship, a wedding soon would just be perfect timing.
