"Wonder Woman" starlet Gal Gadot rocked up to this year's Comic Con on Saturday in San Diego in a very simple but sexy number. 32-year-old Gadot caught the eyes of many as she revealed a long-sleeved, short, white, sequined Stella McCartney creation paired with a serious pop of red lipstick - what can only be described as a classic, understated look that would give Marilyn Monroe a run for her money. The actress and model added a strappy pair of silver Aquazurra heels to the mix as well as delicate jewelry courtesy of Anita Ko. To complete the look, celebrity hairstylist Mark Townsend styled Gadot's hair into a sweet and simple top-knot.

'Wonder Woman' star announces the second installment

To add to the celebration, the fact that "Wonder Woman" was directed by a female director, Patty Jenkins, has certainly not gone unnoticed, with Jenkins holding the title of first woman director to have directed such a high-grossing action movie.

Speaking of "Wonder Woman" and her character, Gadot said she "stands for everything that is good for love and for compassion and for truth and justice and peace and there's nothing to not love about her."
