Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner pretended to be a one-big happy family as they celebrated the 4Th Of July together with their three children. Basically, it has been three months since the former couple decided to divorce each other. The former couple was seen together as they brought their kids to the colorful parade.
The celebration, which took place in Santa Monica, wasn't too far from where they stayed in Brentwood, California. Fans were happy after learning that the former couple were accompanied by their three children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.
The entire family was also joined by their fluffy golden retriever dog during the parade.
Former couple shares a laugh
Despite their split, the former couple decided to place the issue aside for the sake of their children. Both were seen sharing a good laugh with each other during the annual Independence Day celebration. Affleck and Garner were also seen enjoying on their respective seats while watching the ongoing parade.
To recall, the former couple announced their separation back in 2015 and has decided to finally file for a divorce in April 2017. Their official separation was announced through Facebook following the treatment that Affleck has undergone against alcohol addiction. Despite the split, Affleck still thanked Garner for allowing him to co-parent their children.
Affleck and Garner's first reunion
The 4th of July celebration also marked the first reunion for the former couple who had their divorce three months ago. Further, both were also seen last Easter as they celebrated it together with their children. Just a few days later when their separation news broke online, the entire family was also reported spending a holiday at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas.
Further, a report from Harpers Bazaar also shared that Garner has considered that her family is complete amid her divorce. Apparently, she feels contented having her three kids with her. Meanwhile, as the former couple celebrated the 4th of July, Garner was seen rocking on her red tank top and jeans as she walked with her golden retriever.
In addition, Affleck was also sporting his salt and pepper beard while looking casual in his purple shirt, jeans, and gray sneakers. Despite being exes, both have tried to make their children happy during that special holiday. It looks like they were able to get along and have a good time with the kids.
