"Dancing with the Stars" professionals Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo welcomed a new member to their family as Sliwinska gave birth to their second baby, Leia Josephine on June 18. A report from Entertainment Online has confirmed that their baby girl weighed 7 lbs. and is 20 inches in length.
A representative of Sliwinska's family has shared that the new family of four is currently celebrating on their home and are absolutely in love with their new angel. Basically, Baby Leia Josephine marks the second bundle of joy of Sliwinska and Mazo's family.
Baby Leia's birth story
Shortly after Sliwinska gave birth to her second baby, the former "Dancing With The Stars" professional opened up about the birth story of Leia Josephine. Right now, the new mom of two is taking her break and has to spend much of her time to her daughter. She also shared that Mazo, her husband, has personally picked the name of their new princess.
To recall, Sliwinska and Mazo got married back in 2007 and are parents to their 3-year old son, Michael Alexander. Meanwhile, Sliwinska also talked about gaining her figure back and whether or not there will still be third child in the future. For the new mom, she also shared that she has to deal with the changes with her time considering that she is now a mother of two.
Nevertheless, the couple has already prepared for the arrival of Leia Josephine. They already had made some time management plans for the sake of their children and this includes sticking around the house since the day before she gave birth to Leia.
Fitness journey
Just two weeks after Sliwinska gave birth to her new daughter, the former dancer shared that she has plans to share her weight loss and fitness journey online.
She further shared that she still has 10-15 lbs. to lose and she is very excited to gain back her dancing figure.
She also wanted to inspire other moms to do their workout routines and to ensure that it can still fit into their busy lives. Sliwinska also plans to be a full-time and dedicated mom to Michael and Leia. Meanwhile, she also admitted that she can no longer have more hours to spend in the gym.
However, she will try her best to share her fitness goals online and looks forward that it will also help her really push herself to her goals.
Without a doubt, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum is very excited to be a great mom to her children. But nonetheless, she still wants to have her body back. She was also happy upon knowing that Michael has been a great big brother to the new princess of their family.
