New information developing in Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's suicide has revealed that the singer's death eerily duplicates the death of his close pal Soundgarden's Chris Cornell's suicide. Bennington was found dead from an apparent suicide by hanging in his home on July 20th. TMZ reports that law enforcement officials reveal that details of Chester's death are very close to those of Cornell's who committed suicide in May.

Chester Bennington's was discovered by his maid hanging from a closet door near his bedroom.
The singer had used a belt to take his life, while Cornell had been found dead in his hotel room and had used an exercise band to hang himself in his bathroom doorway. Neither singer had left a suicide note, and no drugs had been found in the area where Bennington died. However, a half empty liquor bottle was found near the body.

According to Chicago Tribune reports Bennington, 41, had been having a tough time dealing with Chris' death and had chosen the Thursday, the day of what would have been Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday to end his life. Chris Cornell's family released a statement yesterday expressing their condolences and great sadness over tragedy calling Chester a beloved member of their family.
Linkin Park band members are shocked and sadden at the sudden loss of their close friend and band frontman. Linkin Park was first formed in 1996 and is best known for hit songs including, " One Step Closer," "Crawling," "Papercut," and "In the End" from their 1999 hit debut album "Hybrid Theory."
Their debut album quickly topped the charts and is listed the third-best debut week of any album that year.The band released their seventh album "One More Light" on May 19, 2017, just two months prior to Bennington's suicide.
Bennington's life was never easy, over the years he battled with drug and alcohol addictions. He had previously revealed he had been sexually abused as a child and spent several months homeless just before finding fame as a musician.
Linkin Park fans have flocked to Bennington's Palos Verdes Estates, California home flooding the gates with flowers and tributes.
