Months after the highly-sensationalized split from Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck may have found a new love in the form of "Saturday Night Live" producer, Lindsay Shookus. According to People, Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are dating openly in Los Angeles. The "SNL" producer is also said to be living in the "Batman" actor's house in LA. News about Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus' relationship began surfacing when they were spotted out and about on Thursday night. A source reportedly told People that the new couple arrived in a limo at Giorgio Baldi for dinner.
The source revealed that they looked really happy and after eating dinner, they returned to Ben Affleck's pad.
Long-time acquaintances
According to People, the "Pearl Harbor" actor and Lindsay Shookus have known each other for a long time, even when the former was still married to Jennifer Garner. E! News reports that Affleck and Shookus also had a short date in London last week while the former was in the area for some projects. They reportedly went to see the play "Ferryman" together during their London escapade.
Affleck and Shookus are both survivors of a failed marriage, with the latter formerly married to her "Saturday Night Live" colleague, Kevin Miller. Lindsay Shookus and Kevin Miller have one child together.
Meanwhile, the "Justice League" actor and Jennifer Garner have long announced their separation but it was only until a few months ago that they decided to formalize and legalize it with divorce papers. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have three children together.
Co-parenting at its best
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's divorce didn't really come as a shock for their fans because they already admitted their relationship woes to the public a few years ago, specifically in 2015.
A lot of issues have bene hurled at them, one of which included a nanny suspected to be the third party and the cause of their separation.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have both remained gracious and private when it comes to their separation. Currently, they have maintained their relationship as friends and remain on good terms and in close contact with each other.
According to People, the former couple wants to maintain a healthy relationship for their children and they are currently enjoying the perks of co-parenting. In fact, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted spending the Fourth of July with their children.
That said, it appears that Jennifer Garner is pretty cool with the idea of her former husband dating Lindsay Shookus.
