Stephen Amell recently revealed the return of Malu Bennet as Deathstroke in “Arrow” Season 6 at the Heroes And Villains Fest Evidently, Slade Wilson has survived the Lian Yu explosion in the previous season finale.
However, it is still a big question who else survived the blast that left the lives of Team Arrow hanging in the balance. In an on-stage interview at the fan fest, Amell talked about the returning character and a big surprise coming.
Characters’ return
“I can report that Manu Bennett is back,” Stephen Amell, who plays the role of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow said at the event.
Fans will definitely see Slade Wilson once again in the coming “Arrow” Season 6. The 36-year-old star even revealed that Deathstroke will be seen a number of times in the television series when it returns. Aside from that, he also teased that someone is going to be back that viewers haven’t seen since the show’s first season. Who could that be?
Additionally, Stephen Amell revealed that his character is set to have “new accommodation” in the upcoming new season, CBR reported. Of course, fans will still see more flashbacks to complete the show’s story. Lastly, the new chapter will focus more on other characters as the television series’ tale progresses. “They are a part of the show’s DNA,” he said.
With that, he is expecting to see more of them frequently.
Possible characters that outlived the explosion
As Wade Wilson survived the Lian Yu explosion, fans are still wondering who else from team Arrow survived the tragic event.
In a list made by Movie Pilot, it was assumed that Thea Queen (Willa Holland) would definitely survive and be back in “Arrow” Season 6.
To recall, one of the show’s writers, Marc Guggenheim, assured us that as long as he stays in the television series, he would never let Oliver Queen’s sister be out of it.
Another possible living character is Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). The show’s executive producer Wendy Mericle, earlier disclosed that Helix, the hacktivist group that the former CEO of Palmer Technologies got involved with, will be back in the coming sixth season.
The 25-year-old Canadian actress supported this claim when she said at the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest that Smoak Technologies is on the way.
Lastly, John Diggle (David Ramsey) might be seen again in the coming new chapter. Although there is no evidence to support this claim, the 45-year-old actor shared a snap on his Instagram page hinting at his excitement about the start of “Arrow” Season 6.
