Just recently, Sam Heughan held a question and answer session on Twitter to celebrate the anniversary of him being cast as Jamie Fraser in the “Outlander” series.

With the use of #AskSam, the 37-year-old actor addressed several questions from the fans online.

Interestingly, fans asked about Heughan’s thoughts regarding his co-star and on-screen lover, Caitriona Balfe. One netizen asked if the actress is “as smart and beautiful” in real life. According to Hall of Fame, some fans noted how Balfe actively participated in the actor’s Q&A session and even reiterated questions about her. Others also noted how the two co-stars showed flirtatious moves with each other.

In fact, some fans believed that Sam Heughan’s relationship with his girlfriend, MacKenzie Mauzy is just a publicity stunt.

They also believed that he is dating his “Outlander” co-star. Some fans even added that Heughan and Balfe are just keeping their romance from the fans because it may affect the Starz series.

Nevertheless, both Heughan and Balfe denied the romance allegations. Balfe also insisted that she was exhausted with this issue and that she was troubled by it.

Moreover, Heughan also debunked the rumors and stated that they are just “very good” friends in real life.

The long wait for the Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s fans is finally over as Starz announced that the third season of “Outlander” will be released on September 10.

Fans are reportedly excited to see what lies ahead for Jamie and Claire in “OutlanderSeason 3.

This season will consist of 13 episodes which will be based on Diana Gabaldon’s “Voyager” novel. The show picks up where Claire Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) returns to her life in 1948.

Claire struggles to deal with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies) as she is currently pregnant with Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) child. As for Jamie, he struggles as he deals with his loss during the battle of Culloden and Claire being away.

Meanwhile, “Outlander” Season 3 executive producer and writer, Anne Kenney will officially leave the series as she announced on Twitter.
