Thousands of viewers are following the “Alaskan Bush People” series on Discovery Channel. However, the show is currently facing a new controversy after it was reported that the stage 3 lung cancer diagnosis of Ami and the accident Matt met before abandoning their homestead were both fabricated.

‘ABP’ faked Ami, Matt’s troubles?

The Inquisitr reported that there is various evidence to prove that the “Alaskan Bush People” series is full of lies and deceit. According to the news outlet, the Discovery Channel series is a televised version of the “One Wave at a Time” novel, which was written by Bill Brown.

Reports have it that Billy went to California and met Discovery Channel producers. The two parties allegedly agreed to reinvent the Brown family’s lifestyle and pattern it from their patriarch’s tome. The original allegations about this surfaced via Mic Network way back in January of this year.

Adding fuel to the fire are the reports claiming that most of the Brown family members were not born and raised in the woods unlike what the clan has been presenting in the APB series. Billy and BamBam were reportedly fined and jailed after they were caught lying about staying in Alaska from 2009 until 2012.

This week, TV Overmind even claimed that the Brown family is living close to town. Sources stated that the clan’s household is located near restaurants, which is completely opposite to what they have been portraying on the television.

Fans cannot help but speculate that “Alaskan Bush People” is scripted and might not be true at all. While these claims could possibly be true, it should be noted that Discovery Channel has yet to release an official statement to address these claims.

Billy leaves Ami while dealing with cancer?

Meanwhile, Christian Post reported that fans of the “Alaskan Bush People” series were upset after Billy Brown revealed that he does not want to leave Browntown despite his wife’s suffering.

"I don't know how I'm going to live without it," the Brown patriarch previously stated.

Avid followers of the Discovery Channel series were infuriated after Ami realized that her condition primarily affects the fate of her family and most fans called Bill selfish after he showed more concern for their homestead than his sick wife.

To recall, the current health condition of Ami was revealed in a previous “Alaskan Bush People” episode. Billy’s wife said that more than having lung cancer, it pains her that their family has to abandon their farm because of her. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates.
