“The Jamie Fox Show” aired its last episode on 2001, however, according to Garcelle Beauvais, a possible reunion for her and Jamie Foxx is set to happen for the reboot of the show.
ET Online reported that the 50-year-old Haitian-American actress dished about how she remained good friends with Foxx and even teased a possible reunion for the WB Network sitcom reboot.
"Oh my god! Can I tell you, now that reboots are all the rage," the actress said. She went on saying that she texted Foxx and started talking about the possibility of collaborating again for the sitcom.
She confessed that Foxx agreed about it and she just needs to let him know when.The actress added that they are "going to try to figure out something" for the show.
“The Jamie Foxx Show” was a sitcom that aired on the WB Network from August of 1996 to January 2001. It stars Jamie Foxx, Garcelle Beauvais, Ellia English, Garret Morris and Christopher B. Duncan.
Foxx and Beauvais never dated
Garcelle Beauvais and Jamie Foxx played the love interests in “The Jamie Foxx Show” and as well as in the 2013 film “White House Down” but they never dated in real, which Beauvais credited for their long-lasting friendship.
The “Spider-Man: Homecoming” actress confessed that she thinks if they had dated, they probably would not be close as right now.
She went on saying that they love and respect each other so much and considered each other as a family instead, especially that their kids grew up together.
"It's just nice to see his journey," Beauvais added. "I'm his biggest fan.”
The 50-year-old actress further said that she admired Foxx's openness to the fans but added that not all of his secrets and information about him are open to the public.
