Farrah Abraham has revealed that she is done with reality television and ready to move on to a more serious career. As the second half of the sixth season of "Teen Mom OG" continues to play out on MTV, Abraham has reportedly set her sights on a career in acting and she's ready to leave her reality roots behind.

“I will always have a place in my heart for reality TV as I’ve history in reality television and for social issues time and time again – but I must continue creating in a different way in my free time,” Farrah Abraham explained during an interview with The Sun days ago.

That said, Abraham went on to confirm that she would soon be returning to the U.K. after a stint on "Celebrity Big Brother" years ago to appear on a new reality dating show.

Farrah Abraham is excited to find love

While Abraham and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran continue to spend time with one another and even kissed for a recent video on Twitter, the reality star and mother of eight-year-old Sophia told The Sun that she was excited to have the opportunity to find someone special without "boundaries or borders." As for what Abraham needs in a partner, a source told the outlet that the "feisty" "Teen Mom OG" star needs someone with a similar personality. “Bosses think they could find some amazing guys for her on the show and she’s excited about taking part,” the source noted.

Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran have gone on numerous trips recently

While Abraham will soon be looking for love on a reality show, she and Saran remain close, and at the end of last month, they traveled to Jamaica for what appeared to be a romantic vacation in honor of the 26th birthday of the "Teen Mom OG" star. From there, the couple traveled to Sin City where they celebrated the birthday of one of Abraham's friends. Still, as Saran has revealed on Twitter, the couple is not currently dating due to Abraham's need to be single for her new reality show.

In a series of tweets to fans, Saran claimed MTV was forcing Farrah Abraham to date other people and also said that it wasn't her fault that she was playing a role on the show.

As for Abraham, she's also confirmed that she is currently single as she prepares to start filming on her upcoming dating series.
