The fourteenth episode of “Shadowhunters” Season 2 will be aired on June 26 and is about to introduce a new character called the Seelie Queen. However, for a character that no one has seen yet, she already made protagonist Clary Fray’s (Katherine McNamara) life miserable by making her choose between Simon and Jace. This love triangle disaster is set to happen in the upcoming episode.
Clary Fairchild was asked to go on a mission with Jace. While Fairchild thinks nothing can go wrong in the Seelie Court, Jace (Dominic Sherwood) described the Seelie Queen as someone who can easily manipulate the truth.
Simon (Alberto Rosende), on the other hand, believes that Clary will be on his side no matter what happens, giving him the confidence to join the mission.
Who will Clary save in ‘Shadowhunters’ season 2 episode 14?
During the Episode 14 promo, Jace warned Simon and Clary not to touch or smell anything when they arrive at their destination. Although the three were successful in penetrating the Seelie court, Jace and Simon have unfortunately been captured. To save them, Fairchild must kiss the person she desires the most, which in the original material source is Jace.
Despite this, no one knows what twist the showrunners have prepared for viewers. After all, Simon is still Clary’s best-friend-turned-boyfriend.
One cannot deny that Jace and Clary know they are not siblings as well. Therefore, the scenario in the Seelie court is expected to be the best transition for fans who are rooting to reunite 'Clace' once again.
Sarah Hyland joins the Freeform series
According to Christian Post, “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland recently talked about her future appearance in the shadow world on Twitter.
While this is not confirmed yet, speculations suggest that Queen Seelie’s voice in the trailer sounds a lot like Hyland. The 26-year-old actress has not commented on these rumors yet.
Talking about the love trio, Clara and Jace grew apart after the villainous Valentine told them they were siblings. Of course, fans know they are not, especially those who read the book already.
After the revelation, Simon took the chance to confess to his childhood best friend despite being a vampire downworlder.
