Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber made headlines when they were a couple. Most of their fans thought that they would really end up marrying each other, but, unfortunately, they broke up in 2014. Three years after the breakup, Justin Bieber has had his fair share of ex-girlfriends while Selena Gomez is currently in a relationship with The Weeknd.

It's safe to say that the "Baby" singer and "Bad Liar" singer have moved on from their past relationship, but here comes a major red flag waving at the ex-lovers. Apparently, a duet that they made back when they were still so in love with each other was released to the public.

According to Elle, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez' duet was entitled "Steal Our Love." Other media outlets tagged the song as "Can't Steal Our Love," but it's still unclear as to what the working title really is.

A leaked duet of the former lovers also caused a ruckus in October 2015, but it was promptly taken down. Here's what makes the issue more interesting: according to Elle, another leaked duet of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez was posted on Friday night and as of writing, it is still available for listening.

Basing on the lyrics, most of the fans predicted that the song was written and recorded by Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez sometime between 2013-2014, a few months before their big breakup.

Looking further into the lyrics, it can be noticed that it already depicted the tumultuous phase of their relationship as well as how the "It Ain't Me" singer felt about all the paparazzi and the press swarming over them.

Listening to the track, Selena Gomez' vocals take over most of the song, with Justin Bieber just singing some parts in the chorus and towards the end.

There were also some parts where Bieber can be heard just mumbling through some phrases, giving out the possibility that the song may not have been completely written yet when it was recorded.

Major throwback feels

Even a year after Justin Bieber and the "Good For You" singer broke up, the former still openly expressed his love for his ex-girlfriend.

In fact, many of their fans were still hoping for a reunion, especially when Bieber told Access Hollywood in an interview last November 2015 that he was never going to stop loving Selena Gomez. He also added that he's never going to stop checking in on the "Same Old Love" hitmaker.

As of writing, reps for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have yet to comment on the leaked audio recording. Check out the video below to get your Jelena throwback feels.
