Recently, she was a guest on the hit radio show, Power 96.5 FM. Gomez admitted that she started working on the song back in 2016 and before she started dating. For Gomez, the song sings about being in love and how it can be difficult for someone to be suave when they are obsessed with a person.
Gomez's mother continues to be protective
Reports claimed that Gomez checked herself into rehab because of her failed relationship with the "Sorry" singer. It can be remembered that Gomez underwent rehab after realizing that she had been suffering from anxiety, depression and panic attacks last year. She even admitted the hardships she went through in life during her acceptance speech at the American Music Awards last year.
In line with this, reports stated that Gomez's mother, Mandy, reached out to Bieber and asked him to ease off Gomez. Mandy has reportedly asked Bieber not to communicate with the "Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker because he has affected her life in a negative way. Mandy even thinks that Bieber is the only person who has changed her daughter, which is not good for her daughter at all.
