Mr. Meeseeks is not present in the sequel
Despite the network’s uncertainties, fans are expecting that the remaining 13 episodes of “Rick and Morty” Season 3 will be revealed this July. Moreover, show’s writer Ryan Ridley gave some juicy details regarding the sequel in his interview on the Y Combinator podcast. The writer then admitted that Mr. Meeseeks would not be present in the upcoming season. "We've talked about how we'd bring back Meeseeks, and if we were ... if we're gonna bother to do it," He said.
It was then reported that the team behind "Rick and Morty" would want to explore new aspects for their third installment. It was also reiterated that fans should never worry with the character's absence as greater things will happen in the show.
“Rickmancing the Stone” spoilers: Rick and Morty saves Summer
The episode following “The Rickshank Redemption” is entitled “Rickmancing the Stone”.
The second episode is reportedly focusing on the life of Rick as he escapes from the Galactic Federation Prison. Beth decided to part ways with Jerry, making Morty the head of their household. This episode will also get some significant scenes from the 1984 film “Romancing the Stone”. With that, fans are speculating that Morty would then refuse to go on an adventure with his grandfather.
It is also believed that Rick and Morty will do everything that they can to save Summer from the people who kidnapped her.
Experts then suggested that viewers should take the information regarding “Rick and Morty” Season 3 lightly as nothing has ever been denied or confirmed by its creators. It is best to wait for their official announcement and the actual release of the show’s succeeding episodes.
