In addition, the actress considered the negotiation as a long process. Nevertheless, she was thankful that finally their agreement was made final and that she will return in the series after she left back in 2015. Leakes also shared the beautiful news on her Twitter page and fans couldn't help but be glad for what they learned.

The reality star is set to appear in the season 10's majority episodes.

To recall, the actress departed from the series two years ago. Despite being away from "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Leakes still starred in other shows like "The New Normal," and "Dancing with the Stars." She also appeared on stage performances for "Chicago" and "Cinderella."

Original cast member

Back in 2015, Leakes left the series after the seventh season. Since then, the reality star didn't make any appearance in the series up to the ninth season. However, it is known that Leakes is one of the original cast members of the show. Hence, it isn't surprising that the production has chosen her to make a comeback.

She proudly announced the news on her Twitter as she wrote, "All hail the Queen for season 10." Meanwhile, Leakes will be joined by other series actors and actresses like Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams.

The series already had a long history of welcoming original casts back after leaving the series for a little while.

Guest appearance

Right now, the production has been hard at work for the upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta." Apart from the original cast members, the series is also expected to feature some guest appearances from other stars.

To recall, Jill Zarin was among those who guest appeared in season nine.

Meanwhile, Dina Manzo, who left the series in season 2, also returned to the series in season six. On the other hand, Jaqueline Laurita, who left in season five, had to reprise her role in season six and became a series full time cast in season seven.

Apparently, the series is already known for having their original casts return despite the number of occasions that it left the show.
