Maci Bookout has always appeared to be the most put together mom from "Teen Mom OG." She rarely has drama unless it has to do with her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards. Her relationship with her husband, Taylor McKinney has been picture-perfect on camera. The two seem to co-parent well together and despite her mini alcohol-related scandals, Maci stays out of the tabloids. Her feud with co-star Farrah Abraham was highly publicized several years back and it went far enough that Bookout took Bentley off the show.
Fans criticized Maci for a 'fake' life
There has been a lot of talk about how Maci Bookout hides her drama.
She isn't big on social media conflicts and she doesn't air her dirty laundry on "Teen Mom OG." Fans have recognized the tension between Maci and Taylor McKinney on more than one occasion but the two never argue in front of the camera. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Maci Bookout admits to arguing with her husband after the cameras leave when they are drinking. This admission comes up on Monday's episode of "Teen Mom OG."
Plenty of debate has surrounded Maci Bookout in regards to her alleged drinking while she was pregnant with Maverick. She was filmed drinking around Halloween and at least one other time and she announced she was pregnant around Valentine's Day in 2016. She reportedly didn't know she was expecting until she was at least halfway through her pregnancy but fans and critics aren't buying that.
Several rumors have circulated that Maverick was suffering from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, though that is not the case. In fact, Maci Bookout opened up about his health issues recently.
Future of Maci and Taylor
It looks like there may be marriage counseling in the future for Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney. The two seem to be okay most of the time but according to Maci, the other part of the time is "h*ll." That doesn't sound awful but their communication may need some polishing.
Both are running a business, filming "Teen Mom OG," and raising children. They had two children back to back, with their birthdays literally being a year apart, save one day. Bentley resides with Bookout majority of the time, so they are parenting three kids with two of them being toddlers. It isn't easy for anyone and then add in the stress of MTV and it is a recipe for disaster.
