This coming Friday, U.S. K-pop fans will have their chance to experience Hallyu live this year at KCON 2017 NY. Consisting of a star-studded lineup in Hallyu which includes, UP10TION, KNK, NCT 127, and Zion.T, it is set to be two days of Korean content and culture fans will never forget.

Even though the aforementioned event has yet to happen, KCON is not slowing down as they are already working hard on making the next U.S. event, KCON 2017 LA, just as good or even better. So far, the lineup of performing K-pop acts include SF9, Girl's Day, Astro, and NCT 127.

Now we know that the final act rounding out the lineup will be VIXX. Also, KCON 2017 LA will feature an Artist Alley.

The venue's lineup rounds out with Jellyfish Entertainment's boy band

The announcement of Vixx rounding out the performing lineup and the new Artist Alley was made in Los Angeles last week. Voice, Visual, Value in Excelsis -- better known as Vixx -- is a six-member K-pop boy band formed under Jellyfish Entertainment, the same Korean entertainment label and agency also known for rookie girl group Gugudan.

Formed back in 2012, N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, and Hyuk stand out from other K-pop boy bands or acts as they are predominantly known as a concept or performance group. This means their music, lyrics, choreography, and overall stage performances are crafted together to tell a story or concept.

Vixx made an impact with their debut "Super Hero" which sold over 64,000 downloads in South Korea alone.

They would continue forward over the course of five years with other hits including "Love Equation" which topped the Korean chart at number two and had over 282,000 downloads, the most of all their featured songs to chart.

Last month as part of their 5th anniversary, Vixx made their comeback with their fourth extended play (EP) or mini-album titled "Shangri-La" featuring a title track song of the same name.

The album has sold over 73,000 copies in South Korea and the song has over 120,000 downloads.

Artist Alley is a new way for K-pop fans to interact with K-pop acts

Not much is known about the "Artist Alley" but what we know is that it consists of a booth on the convention floor where fans will be able to get up close and personal with K-pop acts. This will primarily include autographing sessions though picture opportunities may also be included. It will be open to all convention attendees.

Right now, we do not know which K-pop acts will be partaking in the Artist Alley. It is presumable that the K-pop lineup performing at the venue will have their time in it, but it is also possible other K-pop acts may be in it too.

KCON 2017 LA will take place at the Staple Center, Los Angeles Convention Center, and surrounding buildings from August 18 to 20. Combo tickets go on sale starting July 7 at 10 a.m. PST.
