Is Gwyneth Paltrow getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt? Twenty years have passed since their relationship, but a fan wanted to find out about the possibility that they could reunite.
In a recent Facebook Live Q & A for Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand GOOP, the mom-of-two addressed someone from the audience who posted a question about Brad Pitt. Telling the Facebook user, Corey, Gwyneth Paltrow said that "the ship has sailed" for her and her former fiancé.
While Pitt is currently single, following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Paltrow is in a serious and committed relationship with “American Horror Story” producer Brad Falchuk for almost two years.

Pitt and Paltrow in the 90s
Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow met while doing the movie "Se7en," when they were both up-and-coming Hollywood stars. Before Pitt had his high profile relationships with ex-wives Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, he and Paltrow planned on getting married in their 20s. The former lovers were in a relationship for nearly three years before they broke up in 1997.
In a previous interview with Marie Claire, Gwyneth Paltrow said that she called off her engagement because she wasn't ready to get married before she was 25. "You can’t make that decision when you’re 22 years old," the actress said. "I wasn’t ready, and he was too good for me," she added and said her dad, director Bruce Paltrow, was more devastated when she broke up with Pitt.
Her dad died not seeing her walk down the aisle because she would meet this man three weeks after the director’s death.
Failed marriages
Gwyneth Paltrow married Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2003 and the union bore two children, Apple, born in 2004, and Moses, born in 2006. But after 10 years, Paltrow announced she and Martin were consciously uncoupling.
Their divorce was finalized in 2016.
In that same year, Brad Pitt’s 12-year relationship with Angelina Jolie also ended. The ex-couple, who started dating in 2005, officially got married in France in 2014.
The actress, however, filed for divorce in September 2016 and sought full custody of their six kids, both biological and adopted. Brad Pitt owned up for his part in the breakdown of his marriage and admitted in May that he’s seeking rehabilitation for alcohol abuse. His divorce has yet to be finalized by the California court.
