Theo James and Shailene Woodley became fan favorites after they portrayed Four and Tris in the popular “Divergent” movie series. To recall, during the movie franchise, the pair were rumored to be in a relationship. But, both of them denied their romantic relationship and stated they are just co-stars and good friends.
What is Theo James up to these days?
The 32-year-old English actor played the role of Tobias “Four” Eaton in the “Divergent” series. Aside from that, he is also known for his roles in “Bedlam” and “The Underworld: Blood Wars” film.
In his interview with Evening Standard Magazine, James reportedly stated that he hopes to act varied characters in future films.
Currently, he stars in the movie “Backstabbing for Beginners” and is now in production for “Zoe.” He was busy with the “Sex with Strangers” musical late last year. Meanwhile, he was confirmed to act as a protagonist in the new Netflix series, “How It Ends.”
Apart from pursuing his acting career, James was reported to be helping Syrian refugees. According to Time Magazine, the actor has been participating in different activities which secure the refugees their new homes.

Fans of the “Divergent” series knew that the fourth installment of the series, “Ascendant,” was originally scheduled for a March 2017 release. However, due to the low performance of its third film "Allegiant” in the box-office, the producers decided to develop “Ascendant” as a TV series instead.
Shailene Woodley revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair last year that she won’t be reprising her role in the upcoming fourth installment of “Divergent” as a TV series.
After her confession, the actress landed a new HBO series alongside Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Nicole Kidman, playing Jane in “Big Little Lies," as reported by the LA Times.
Apart from her obligations as an actress, she was also involved in the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, where she was arrested and charged with trespassing and participating in a riot.

Despite James’ claims that he is serious about his relationship with longtime girlfriend Ruth Kearney, several sources revealed that he has an inclination towards Woodley. According to a report by Fashion N’ Style, the pair were seeing each other before they were tapped to play lead roles in the “Divergent” movie franchise.
However, despite all the reports, Theo James and Shailene Woodley still denied the dating rumors.
