Jon Snow’s character (played by Kit Harrington) in the "Game of Thrones" series portrays a role that everybody adores. In GOT Season 6, the speculations ended when his real identity was disclosed as Bran Stark who traveled to see his father Neddard Stark from the past.
“Game of Thrones” popularized as “GOT” has been fans favorite since day one because of it’s unique sets and vast plots. Since the hit HBO-Series is from the book of George RR Martin, the series follows the plot of what was written in the book. However, this does not include GOT’s recent seasons, so fans have to speculate.
Jon Snow’s real identity finally revealed
Jon Snow who was regarded as a bastard son of Ned Stark happened to be the son of Lyanna Stark (Ned’s younger sister) and Rhaegar Targaryen (brother of Daenerys). This makes him the nephew of both Ned Stark and Daenerys Targaryen. The shocking news is that his real name is Jaehaerys Targaryen.
Snow was delivered by his dying mother Lyanna with Ned Stark by his side. Lyanna then made Ned promise that he will be protecting her son from any danger, After that, Lyanna whispered some indiscernible words to Ned which the fans speculate to be Jon’s name, Jaehaerys Targaryen.
Ned Stark then raised the new-born child as his bastard (thus named “Snow”) from another woman.
Jon Snow then grew up knowing that he is the son of Ned and not knowing his real identity.
Tyrion Lannister is the brother of Daenerys
Another speculation emerges about the identity of Tyrion lannister (Peter Dinklage) who is rumored to be Jon Snow’s uncle. Tyrion is the youngest son of Tywin Lannister and Joanna who was believed to be having an affair Aerys Targaryen also known as The Mad King.
He is despised by his father Tywin Lannister because of the death of his mother while he was delivered. But that is not the story that the fans believe and that there’s more to that. It is no longer a question now why Tyrion’s father hates him so much. It is because he is a Targaryen, making him the brother of Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen and the uncle of Jon Snow.
While their real identities are not yet revealed, the war continues against Cersei Lannister seated on the iron throne in the Kingslanding and everything that comes in between. However, the real winter is coming, and they are not prepared yet. “Game of Thrones” Season 7 is coming this July 16, and everybody can’t wait to see all of the breath-taking revelations.
