According to a leaker during "GOT" season 7 one of the most important theories about Jon Snow will be confirmed through a gorgeous flashback featuring the handsome Rhaegar Targaryen. This information appears to be confirmed by what Devin Oliver ("I See Star's" lead vocalist) tweeted a while ago: "I may or may not have made an appearance in 'Game of Thrones' season 7." Oliver is rumored to be the one who is going to portray Rhaegar in the HBO's show. Let's see what kind of situation he will play in as Rhaegar Targaryen, the son of the Mad King Aerys II and the father of Jon Snow.
'GOT' season 7 spoilers: the marriage of Ice and Fire
According to what the leaker known as "awayforthelads" wrote on Reddit, the next season of "Game of Thrones" will feature "a flashback scene to Rhaegar and Lyanna's wedding". This is huge: if they were married, Jon isn't a bastard anymore and he actually has (some) rights to the Iron Throne, just like a lot of fans always dreamt. We must point out that this doesn't mean that Jon will ascend to the Iron Throne, but obviously, the marriage of Rhaegar and Lyanna will change the way he will be perceived by others and may play an important role in his relationship with Daenerys. Don't forget that House Targaryen followed the Valyrian practice of wedding brother to sister and cousin to cousin in Westeros, to keep themselves apart from the blood of the other Westerosi families...

We're talking of the same leaker who shared many details of "Game of Thrones" season 7's plot a while ago. Awayforthelads' spoilers are likely to be true since some statements have already been confirmed by leaked photos and filming location details. Although we cannot be 100% sure that we will see the Rhaegar and Lyanna's flashback in season 7, it's very likely that the spoilers are legit.
The next season of "GOT", which will consist of only 7 episodes, will air on HBO in Summer 2017, possibly at the end of June.
