Portuguese Professional Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has a son, born in June 2010, whom he named after him. However, he never revealed his son’s mother in public and it still remains a mystery to all fans until now. Recently, the famous footballer confirmed through his official Facebook page that he is now a father to twins via a surrogate. The names of the twins have also been revealed by the Portuguese media. What’s more interesting is that his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez is reportedly pregnant, which is another addition to the Real Madrid Forward's kids.
The twins’ names revealed
According to Time Magazine, Cristiano Ronaldo, 32, named his twins Mateo and Eva. He recently posted a photo of him carrying the babies in his arms, Eva in his left arm and Mateo in his right. Baby Eva can be seen sporting a pink dress while baby Mateo wears a blue jumper. “So happy to be able to hold the two new loves of my life,” he captioned the photo. The Instagram post quickly earned almost seven million likes in just a few hours and his fans were all over it, apparently happy for the Real Madrid Forward player and his bundles of joy.
The twins of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mateo and Eva were reportedly born in the United States through a surrogate, although it remains unconfirmed.
The famous footballer also said that he is extremely happy that he’s finally with his children for the first time. He announced his twins following the defeat of his Portugal team against Chile at the Confederations Cup. The Football Superstar also said that he was “body and soul” for his national team in spite of his twins’ birth.
Is his girlfriend pregnant?
Earlier this month, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a photo of him and his girlfriend of seven months, Madrid-based model Georgina Rodríguez. There were fans that noticed the model’s tummy looking more plump than normal, prompting them to speculate that she might be expecting. It remained unconfirmed until a representative for the Portuguese footballer superstar, Ruben Malaret told Hollywood Life that Rodríguez is pregnant.
“I can confirm that Cristiano Ronaldo has been blessed with twins and his current girlfriend is pregnant with his child,” he said adding that the babies’ genders are obvious in the photo that he recently posted on Instagram.
The source also added that Cristiano Ronaldo chose not to let the world know why he opted for a surrogate but he is certainly happy that he has twins. No pressure, Sir. The twins are extremely cute though!
