With KCON 2017 New York officially done, many North American K-pop fans, especially those living in the southwest United States, are looking forward to the second Korean content and culture convention, KCON 2017 Los Angeles.
News of the second KCON event was first announced earlier this month when both SF9 and Girl's Day were revealed as the first K-pop acts in the performance lineup. They were followed-up by both Astro and NCT 127. Finally, it was believed Vixx was the last K-pop act to join as the announcement with them said they "round out" the lineup, a term often used synonymous with finalization.
That was a mistake on KCON's behalf as there will be more than five K-pop acts performing at KCON 2017 Los Angeles. To be frank, it would not make sense for the three-day U.S. KCON event in Los Angeles to have less performers than the two-day U.S. KCON event in New York. With that in mind, KCON announced three more K-pop acts to join the lineup: Cosmic Girls, Heize, and Seventeen.

The news of the new K-pop acts joining KCON 2017 Los Angeles was announced on Friday, June 30, 2017. As mentioned previously, they are Cosmic Girls, Heize, and Seventeen and they'll be joining SF9, Girl's Day, Astro, NCT 127, and Vixx.
Altogether, they are eight acts, the same number of acts who performed at KCON 2017 New York.

Given the fact KCON 2017 Los Angeles is three days long, one more day longer than KCON 2017 NY, it is believed at most four more K-pop acts will join the lineup.
Given either recent or upcoming releases, many fans hope Black Pink, Mamamoo, and/or Girls' Generation will be announced.
