News spoke to Dr. Aaron White, Senior Scientific Advisor to the Director at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, who explained that "The amount of alcohol needed to produce blackouts also disrupts the ability to make sound decisions and control impulses.
A severely intoxicated person, in a blackout or not, could have profoundly impaired decision-making abilities."

It seemed that "Bachelor in Paradise" cast member Corinne Olympios was drinking excessively on June 4, as an insider told Daily Mail that she was upset that the producers were asking her to slow down, as they were concerned for her well-being.
The reality TV star reportedly claimed, "I'm a grown woman and I can make my own decisions. I'm an adult, if I want to drink I'm going to drink."
Olympios now dealing with 'physical and emotional trauma' following the scandal
