The fate of the popular TV series, "The Originals" has been sealed by CW when it officially announced a Season 5 renewal. The series is expected to feature the return of some characters like the Mikaelson Family which includes Klaus, Elija, and Rebekah. The characters of Hayley and Marcel are also expected to be back this season. Other renewed series at the CW are "iZombie," "Supernatural," "Arrow," "The 100," and "Riverdale."

Hope and Klaus to reunite in Season 5

"The Originals" has been making a lot of noise lately when there was confusion as to whether or not there would be a renewal or cancellation.

Apparently, the series has been fortunate for being renewed for a fifth installment after the previous season faced some decline in the ratings.

Meanwhile, the constant mystery and danger from the episode "The Hollow," created its noise online and was able to pick up the ratings for the fourth season. This paved way for a Season 5 renewal. Hope and Klaus will be together once again after five years, while Marcel and Klaus will also continue to fight their issues. Meanwhile, Hayley will try her best to keep her family intact.

Further, after "Vampire Diaries" was canceled this year, it seems that prayers have been answered and a fifth season is now ready to set sail for "The Originals."

CW orders series renewals

Apart from "The Originals" Season 5 renewal, some news reveals that the CW also renewed 11 other series'.

The list includes "The Flash," "Jane the Virgin" Season 4, "Supernatural" Season 13, "Crazy Ex-girlfriend" Season 3, "Legends of Tomorrow," and "Supergirl."

However, there were also some TV series' that didn't make it to its next installment. "Frequency" and "No Tomorrow" were both canceled after they aired only the first season.

On the other hand, "iZOmbie", which has also been renewed for another season, is expected to bring back the zombie named Liv Moore who will sort out some cases of murder.

Moreover, she will be joined by some characters like Malcolm Goodwin, Ravi Chakrabarti, and Major Lilywhite on its upcoming season. Further, the premiere dates of these upcoming series will be revealed soon by the CW.
