There haven’t been many problematic characters in “The Big Bang Theory.” Those that have been questionable for our favorite bunch of scientists (and Penny) have appeared for a couple of episodes and swiftly been forgotten. That was initially the case for a certain female research assistant who was clearly in love with Dr. Sheldon Cooper.
That female doctor returns this week while Amy is away. It’s clear that she harbors feelings for Sheldon that are somewhat questionable, especially with her previous addictive personality trait. Just who are we talking about?
It’s Dr. Ramona Nowitzki, of course!
While Amy is away, Sheldon will play
The last time we saw Dr. Nowitzki, she pushed Sheldon to continue his research. It was all-work-and-no-play for our loveable scientist, meaning that he missed out on game night, paint balling, and so much more. Eventually he cracked and decided to put his friends and fun in front of research.
Well, the doctor is back. It’s unclear just how she will return but she is definitely going to cause some problems. In one of the promos released for “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 finale, Penny explains that Ramona has a few feelings for Sheldon that he isn’t quite understanding. Of course, he doesn’t see it that way, which could put his relationship with Amy on the rocks again.
Will the group help Sheldon understand Ramona’s wants and will Amy realize that her boyfriend is innocent in all this?
Amy wonders if there’s a problem in ‘The Big Bang Theory’ finale
It’s not easy for Amy. Angrily, she will Skype with Bernadette and Penny to find out more about the “Nowitzki broad,” as the New Jersey in her says.
She’s worried that the “tall, blonde, Olympic swimmer” will worm her way into Sheldon’s heart and replace Amy.
Considering the way that Sheldon feels for Amy that likely isn’t going to happen. However, he doesn’t always understand social cues, so she could get closer than she would to others because of this slight flaw in his personality.
Will it be too late once he does realize she wants everything that Penny has tried to warn him about?
“The Big Bang Theory” season 10 has certainly had an earlier vibe to it. The characters are getting back to their original traits; elements that made them hilarious. However, they’ve done that while still growing naturally. Sheldon remains somewhat alien to social norms, but has certainly made major strides in his relationship with Amy. It is unlikely he will do anything intentionally to jeopardize that.
Catch "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 finale on Thursday, May 11, 2017. CBS has confirmed the show for another two years, along with spin-off “Young Sheldon.”
