Disney and Lucasfilm have both been keeping details about its upcoming new "Star Wars" sequel under complete wraps, which has led to various theories and speculations regarding the events that will be unfolding. As it stands, there are a couple of rumors currently circulating regarding the possible plot for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." Now, a new report from what looks to be a very credible source has outlined the possible first few scenes in the movie's first act.

The meeting of two iconic characters

It goes without saying that there will be a couple of spoilers that will be included in the explanation of the new rumor, which is why those that don't want to be spoilt are advised to stop reading right now.

According to a report from Nerdist, one particular scene involving General Leia Organa and Supreme Leader Snoke will be showcased in the very first act. The two will reportedly come face-to-face and will exchange a few select words.

Old acquaintances

It was already revealed in the conversion between Leia and Han Solo in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that Leia already knew Snoke and that he was aware of him wanting to turn their son, Ben Solo, to the dark side. It was further revealed in the "Star Wars Aftermath" novels, which have been officially sanctioned as canon in the series, that Leia was aware of Snoke's intentions and that they both knew each other before he became the defacto leader of the fallen Empire, a.k.a.

the First Order.

How they will meet up

According to Nerdist, General Leia will apparently be captured by the First Order and then brought in front of Supreme Leader Snoke. This will be the first time that both characters are seen together in the same scene, and it will likely be the first time for audiences to see Snoke in the flesh.

Snoke was only shown in the previous movie as a hulking 25-foot hologram. However, reports have revealed that he is about 8 feet tall, similar in size to Darth Vader, but smaller than Chewbacca. The same report also reveals that Snoke will be presented in the movie using a practical puppet instead of Andy Serkis in a motion capture costume.

It isn't quite clear just yet if this will indeed be the first scene that will be used to open the movie, similar to the introduction of ace X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron in the first film. However, it is highly likely that it will indeed be part of the first act as it may be used as a jumping off point to tell the rest of the story.
