Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 is coming and, in fact, is on the way. The animated television series is now in production, but it would be its final installment as announced at Celebration Orlando.

However, people behind the television series promised that they would be giving its much-favorite characters a proper send off to give it a complete ending. As a matter of fact, the show’s first official teaser is already revealed at the recent Star Wars Celebration 2017.

The striking ending and story connections

After the stunning season finale of the previous chapter, its producer Dave Filoni revealed what fans could expect in the coming “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 on the YouTube channel “Rebels Recon.”

He revealed that the new installment would be featuring the return of Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma.

He also hinted that viewers would get to see a lot of insight to understand how that relationship “breaks down and breaks apart.”

Here, fans will also get to see Sabine’s home planet Mandalore that has been featured before in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Filoni explained that as he eventually sees the flow of the animated series, the more he learns that the Rebels are going to finish the Clone Wars.

"It’s going to give us an ending for so many things that I didn’t get to finish,” Filoni continued. However, he admitted that it was never their intention or goal to do that, but it just eventually ended that way. Some of the show’s characters just come into it that made it looked like that it was the franchise’s partnered series that was closely connected.

If truth be told, Filoni also confessed that many of the show’s characters shared a story path with others. It has been known that the show trails the Rebellion that led up to events of the 1977 film “Star Wars: A New Hope.” The first trailer for the upcoming new installment just gave a glimpse of a very appropriate ending.

Big bosses take on the show’s finale

Meanwhile, the senior vice president, programming, and general manager of Disney XD Marc Buhaj said in a statement that the group behind the success of the TV series assures that they will be giving an epic storyline that will make its fans mesmerized. With that, they are now all excited to continue to reveal the new adventure its characters are going to embark in “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 in the fall.

And now that the animated series will soon end, Filoni also firmly believed that every generation needs to have their version of “Star Wars.” He even considered that their show is a big part of the epic opera for a lot of kids that have grown up with it just like any of its movies.
