Netflix fans are still buzzing about “13 Reasons Why,” which is probably the most talked-about show of the year. But now the month of May is here, and it’s time to look forward to some new shows. A Netflix spokesperson confirmed yesterday that “The Oa,” “Lady Dynamite,” and “Glow” will arrive this year.
Also, new seasons of “Master of None,” “House of Cards,” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” will premiere in coming weeks. In total, the streaming giant has 29 original series, movies, and stand-up specials set to debut.
‘The OA’ – Season 2
It has been confirmed that the second season of “The OA” will premiere in coming weeks.
After the smashing success of its first season in 2016, the streaming giant immediately ordered new episodes. “The OA” is one of the most popular mystery dramas with science fiction and supernatural elements.
It is developed by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling. The first season consisted of eight episodes, while the second season will have ten episodes. It is a joint project of Anonymous Content and Plan B Entertainment. The cast includes Brit Marling, Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson, Phyllis Smith, Alice Krige, Patrick Gibson, Brendan Meyer, and Ian Alexander.

No doubt, “Lady Dynamite” is one of the most spectacular television shows of all time. This series helped Netflix to get hundreds to thousands of subscribers in just a few days.
The streaming giant has reportedly ordered new episodes, which will premiere in coming days. “Lady Dynamite” is a joint project of Mitch Hurwitz and Pam Brady.
The cast includes Maria Bamford, Fred Melamed, Mary Kay Place, Ana Gasteyer, Lennon Parham, Bridget Everett, Dean Cain, June Diane Raphael, and Jenny Slate. The story focuses on the life of a stand-up comedian, Maria Bamford, who returns to Los Angeles after spending several months in a hospital.
She is suffering from bipolar disorder and wants to begin a healthy life, but it’s not easy as she has to face various ups and downs. The first season received satisfactory comments from television critics and audiences.

The new Netflix series, “Glow,” is set in the world of women’s wrestling. Developed by Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive, the show will premiere in the last week of June. The 10-episode series features Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, Britney Young, Sydelle Noel, Britt Baron, Jackie Tohn, Kimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, and Kate Nash.
Sunita Mani and Kia Stevens are in the supporting characters.
Its story is about professional female wrestlers who face numerous problems in their lives. Some of them suffer from health complications, while others are tired of their breakups and want change in life.
