The Season 1 finale of "Riverdale" had everyone swaying and wanting more of the teen story drama. From the reveal of Jason Blossom’s killer to the robbery at Pop’s Diner where Fred Andrews (L.Perry) was presumably killed, there are still many unanswered questions. There will be a glimpse into how Cheryl Blossom (M. Petsch) will come to terms with her father’s death and the evidence that it was him who murdered her dear brother. Fans are also wanting to know what is going to happen to FP Jones (S. Ulrich) who is likely going to serve a long jail sentence.
There are also inquiries about whether or not there will be any consequences to Polly Cooper (T.Skovbye) and Jason’s seemingly incestuous relationship.
Interviews and news from 'Riverdale' Season 2
In an interview with TV Guide, KJ Apa said that Archie will go with a vengeful look in "Riverdale" Season 2. The actor anticipated that his character will not stop until he finds the truth behind his father's supposed killing. He continued, "We're going to see a really diverse side to him." Moreover, the disastrous experience will make Archie pull away from his lover Veronica (C. Mendes). However, the former socialite will proceed to stay loyal to her man and will fight to maintain their relationship during Season 2 of "Riverdale." Spectators will also see the surprising pairing between Reggie and Josie, as described by Ashleigh Murray and new cast partner, Charles Melton who replaced Ross Butler.
Murray announced in the same TV Guide conversation that Reggie might possibly play Josie's love interest on "Riverdale."

Several signs are leading up to a confession from Betty’s mother, Alice, about having a child in high school, who she put up for adoption. A dialogue between Archie, Betty, and Veronica had put the story into overdrive, as Veronica considered Betty’s brother will likely be “another blonde Adonis.” A Reddit string said that Betty’s brother could be played by none other than Cole’s brother, ex “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” star Dylan Sprouse.
This of course is just fan speculation and wishful thinking. There have also been theories that Alice's son was conceived with the help of a Serpent, possibly even Jughead's dad, FP. That would really blow the minds of fans who have noticed that something definitely was going on between Alice and FP back in the day.
The new season of "Riverdale" will premiere this fall on the CW network.
