Hey, "The Leftovers" peeps. We've got an interesting turn of events that will be going down with Matt Jamison in the upcoming episode 5 of this current season 3. It turns out that he's going to travel to the land down under ,as well, after becoming convinced that Kevin should be back home in Miracle by the time the seventh anniversary of the departure arrives. However, Matt is definitely going to run into a major problem that totally blocks him, and more. Just like last week, and the week before that, we've got the wonderful HBO press team to thank for these small spoiler teasers no matter how vague they may be.

"It's Matt World"

We've also got a very creative title reveal for this one. They named it: "It's a Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt World." Obviously, this is no doubt, in reference to Matt's big role in this episode. According to their official description, we are going to see something or some reason, convince Matt that it's Kevin's destiny to be home in Miracle,TX for the upcoming seventh anniversary of the Departure. What is it that causes Matt to think this? That's the big question for this storyline.

Back to Miracle,TX

Next, they let us know that this realization of his, whether it has merit or not, will prompt him to go ahead and impulsively hit up Australia to go look for Kevin with thoughts of bringing him back home to Miracle,Texas, on his freaking brain.

Will Matt actually be able to get Kevin to leave the land down under, and come on back home to Texas? Or will something way more powerful get in his freaking way? Luckily, HBO decided to answer that question for us in this press release. Well, the second question, anyways.

God steps in

There is something that's extremely powerful that is going to totally get in his way as they tell us that the almighty God is going to step in and block him.

Say what? Yep, it's true. They say, God is definitely going to get in the way. The big questions, here, is: what will God use to block Matt off? And will Matt immediately give up or keep on trying? Unfortunately, we've run out of luck in getting those questions answered, so it looks like we'll have to wait around until next week when the episode airs to find out.

One thing that we do know for sure, is that this should give us some very interesting scenes to look forward to. This episode was written by the writing team of: Lila Byock & Damon Lindelof, and Nicole Kassell directed it.

Also, we might catch a glimpse of some of them in HBO's new, weekly promo clip for this episode, which we expect to show up later on, tonight, right after episode 4 wraps up. Episode 5 is also confirmed to air next Sunday night, May 14th,2017 at 9pm eastern standard time on HBO. Stay tuned.
