On the recent promo photo, Sam is featured standing in a high-end traffic location in Hollywood. Somehow, this is a simple manifestation that the "NCIS" franchise has allotted good budget for its finale.

The season 8 finale synopsis will center on Sam and his attempt to stop his arch nemesis, Tahir Khaled. Further, he will also face trouble with NCIS team after what happened to his wife.

One of the big pull will feature Sam trying to fight back in revenge for Michelle's death. Having said that, the season 8 finale couldn't mean the culmination of the entire season.

For the meantime, the season 8 ending feels more tad, however; certain questions will be answered as it airs again on Sunday, May 14. The upcoming finale has a title description of "Unleashed," it centers Tahir Khaled and Sam Hanna on the main story point.
