“Teen Mom OG” begins an all new season tonight on MTV. There is a lot that has happened since the original girls last were on television, all of which will be documented throughout the season. “Teen Mom OG” ended with a huge brawl between Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood. There was actually a physical confrontation which shocked fans when it aired last fall. Since then, the girls have cut ties from Abraham completely. They have even publicly dissed each other in the press.
Amber and Matt display a rocky relationship
A quote from the actual trailer shared by the Hollywood Gossip indicates there may be trust issues between the two.
If you remember, they were supposed to get married last October but Amber Portwood called off the wedding for unknown reasons. The two have remained engaged, and hints have been dropped that a 2017 wedding is in the works. Matt Baier will potentially be releasing a tell-all book in a few weeks pending MTV gets things edited like they want. This relationship is being talked about a lot in the press and many are doubting if it will even last much longer.
Aside from the actual moms on “Teen Mom OG,” there is one special moment for one of the dads. Ryan Edwards will be proposing to his girlfriend MacKenzie Standifer. He does it in a weird way, shocking to most fans who have seen the trailer. Of course, she accepted the proposal and will be Mrs.
Ryan Edwards at some point down the line. Standifer has also complained about MTV editing her to look bad this season which is a common complaint among significant others.
The girls head to Puerto Rico
There is still a huge divide among the “Teen Mom OG” cast. No one talks to Farrah Abraham at all, which is fine by her. There was a mini cast trip to Puerto Rico and she was not invited.
Maci Bookout, Catelynn Baltierra, and Amber Portwood all went together. They talk about some heavy things regarding their relationships, which has shocked some fans. It seems like this will be telling of how they all interact with one another in a group setting away from their comfort zones and what they will reveal about their relationships.

There has been talk about after shows being done like they were for “Teen Mom 2,” and there will be one tonight after the season premiere. Fans are interested to see how all of the relationships have evolved over the last several months and where Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran stand now.
