Jeremiah Raber is in trouble. Again. The man appears to be unable to stay out of trouble. The 37-year-old star of TLC's “Return to Amish” and former star of TLC's “Breaking Amish” has been arrested for Domestic Violence.

Carmela Raber's allegations

The latest domestic violence charges were filed against him by his current wife, Carmela Raber. She accused Jeremiah Raber of throwing hot coffee on her lap.

The alleged event happened during one of their many arguments.

Carmela Raber reportedly showed the Suwannee Sheriff's deputies bruises. The bruises were on both her arms and on her legs. She claimed Jeremiah Raber hit her, with a closed fist, causing the bruises. She went on to say her husband hits her on a daily basis. She also told the deputies he threatened to hurt her several times.

The other abused wife

This is not the first time Jeremiah Raber has been accused of domestic violence. His former wife also had him arrested for domestic violence. He was convicted of those charges. It has been reported the reason Raber does not see his children from his first marriage is due to his long history with domestic violence and his inability to control his hair-trigger temper.

It appears Carmela Raber is doing what is necessary to stay safe. Not only did she report the abuse to the police and filed an actual police report but she has also been granted an emergency Order Of Protection against Jeremiah Raber. If she is being abused by her husband, hopefully, the order of protection will help keep her safe.

At the time of publication, it was unknown when Raber would be making his first court appearance for these current charges. It was also unknown if the emergency order of protection Carmela Raber would become a permanent order of protection. That would require a court appearance. During that court appearance, Jeremiah Raber would be able to speak.

Jeremiah Raber's television career

Jeremiah Raber has been making a name for himself on television. He started out on the TLC reality show, “Breaking Amish,” in 2012. In 2013, he also starred in “Breaking Amish: Brave New World.” Now, he is starring in “Return to Amish,” which first aired on TLC in 2014.

What do you think? Is Jeremiah Raber a violent abuser of women or a man who simply made mistakes in his past and those mistakes are now being used against him by his current wife, Carmela Raber?
