Alright, so recently, the very kind ABC folks gave us a little spoilery intel on what we can expect to see go down in their upcoming "Scandal" episode 10 of the current season 6. It's all, pretty much, just one storyline scoop that they let us in on, and it involves what Olivia is currently up to. Apparently, she's going to be quite busy, filling her mind with the would've, could've, should've thought patterns that mostly intel what she thinks could've happened if she and a couple of other people that she was working with, had never gotten the Fitz election rigged.
Apparently, this is all set off by the recent Frankie assassination.
It's "The Decision"
In their press release, they also let us know that they decided to give this episode the title: "The Decision." They began their plot summary description off by telling us, in all-caps, that we'll be seeing Olivia Pope, continuously wonder, "What If?" They also reminded us that it's the show's 100th episode, so this is going to be a special one, I guess, if just for sentimental reasons.
The ugly truth
Anyways, continuing on, they elaborated on the whole Olivia situation, telling us that in light of the ugly truth behind Frankie's assassination murder getting out, Olivia is going to be sent into a mental state of wondering about all the things that would have or could have gone differently in her life and the entire country ,for that matter, is she, Mellie and Cyrus had never rigged Fitz's election.
How long will Olivia be in this state? Will she ever get over it? Or will the thoughts continue to just eat her alive? Unfortunately, they kept their very vague description quite short, and didn't reveal that info, so it looks like we'll have to wait it out until the episode actually airs, to see how her situation plays out.
One thing's for sure, it should give us some very interesting scenes. Episode 10 was written by Johanna Lee, and Sharat Raju directed it.
Alright guys. That's going to wrap it up for this little teaser session, since ABC decided to keep their description really short this week. However, we do expect them to deliver a new preview clip for episode 10 right after episode 9 gets done airing, tonight, so you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for that as it will most certainly reveal some extra details and scenes. We can also confirm that this 10th installment is currently set to air next Thursday night, April 13th,2017 at 8pm central time on ABC. Stay tuned.
