Hey, "NCIS Los Angeles" fans. Yep, it's that time again where we have to tell you that your favorite show is going to be missing in action, tonight. So, the new episode 21 of season 8, which is entitled: "Battle Scars," won't be shown until next Sunday night, April 23rd,2017. Be sure to mark that important date down on your TV schedules, so you don't miss out. We're not really sure why they decided to skip this week, but that's what's happening.

They're celebrating the Bee Gees

So, here's what will be taking over the "ncis los angeles" time slot, tonight.

Apparently, they want to show this special about the legendary music band: The Bee Gees. The special is titled: " Stayin' Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees." According to TV Guide's description, it's going to be packed with a lot of well-known celebrities in the music world. Some of the name-dropping they included, featured the likes of: Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban, Jason Derulo, John Travolta, Wilmer Valderrama, and many, many more.

They say that these stars will honor the Bee Gees with a non-stop party celebration, so it definitely sounds like it'll be a very lively event. If you want to check it out, be sure to still tune into CBS tonight.

However, If not, then you'll definitely want to make some other plans, because this thing is scheduled to take up their entire, primetime line up from 7pm to 9pm central time.

Some extra details for the next one

As previously reported, CBS did serve up their official press release synopsis for episode 21. It turns out that we'll be seeing Hetty and the NCIS L.A.

crew partner up with a couple of Hetty's former Vietnam war colleagues at some point. The reasoning for this, will be to track down a former Navy commander that has kidnapped a crooked Veterans Affairs administrator for siphoning off funds. It sounds like it'll be another interesting and action-filled episode.

Unfortunately, CBS has not served up a preview clip for episode 21, which is not surprising because CBS is usually pretty bad about getting their preview clips out, compared to some of the other big networks like: ABC, FOX,NBC and The CW.

We're guessing that CBS will finally release a preview clip sometime later this week since the episode is due to air next Sunday night. I would definitely keep an eye out for it on their official Youtube channel. We'll also try to get them posted to this site at some point. We're expecting to see, at least, two or three sneak peek clips. This season is scheduled for a total of 24 episodes, so we're definitely getting close to wrapping this season up. Stay tuned.
