Hey, "Blue Bloods" fans. Yes indeedy. The season is coming to a close, and we've got the very last spoiler synopsis for the big season finale episode 22 of this current season 7 from the CBS offices. They gave us some heavy, intense storylines to go over, as we'll be seeing Danny get himself into a whole heap of trouble when he interferes with the flow of 7 million dollars in drug money!
There's going to be an old folks serial killer on the loose that catches Jaimie's undying attention. We'll also be seeing Frank involved in a lesser storyline that hardly anyone cares about, but should fill out the rest of the episode.
"The Thin Blue Line."
Lets go ahead and begin things with the big title for this episode. They let us know that it's officially called: "The Thin Blue Line." They definitely put Danny's storyline in all caps, so we should probably be looking for it to get most of the focus of this episode. They let us know that he's going to end up, intercepting a shipment that has a whopping seven million dollars attached to it!
The super huge problem with this interception, is that it was supposed to go to a freaking, dangerous drug cartel somewhere down in Mexico! And you better believe that these folks are going to be super pissed off about it. So much, in fact, that they're going to plan out a vicious revenge plot, putting Danny in all kinds of crazy danger!
Will Danny survive this supposed revenge plot that's about to go down? Will the plan even get executed? Those are a couple of major questions for ,what appears, to be the main storyline of this season finale installment. Naturally, they didn't reveal anything else in their press release, so we'll have to wait to see how this crazy scenario plays out.
Working solo
Next, they let us know about this Jamie storyline, by telling us that he's going to be working solo dolo, trying to hunt down a very dangerous serial killer that likes to prey on old and helpless elderly folks. Will Jamie be putting himself in too much danger by working the case all by his lonesome? Or will this be a more affective tactic for him? This storyline, should definitely give us some very dramatic and interesting storylines for sure.
Mayor Poole confides
Lastly, they let us know that we'll also see Frank in action, yet again. This time, he's going to be the one that Mayor Poole confides in for some very important intel as he tells him that he's ready to throw in the towel and retire.
This one sounds like it'll be a pretty straight-forward plotline. I see Frank just getting the news, and telling Poole, good luck in retirement. But who knows? Maybe they'll throw something else in there for us. We'll see. This episode was written by Ian Biederman, and David Barrett served up the directorial duties.
Featured, above, is an official photo for episode 22, showing Danny and company in action. It's also been confirmed that it's scheduled to air next Friday night, May 5th,2017 at 9pm central time on CBS. Stay tuned.
