Marvel Studios has joined hands with the snack brand, Doritos, for the promotions of “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.”

If you love Hollywood tracks and cheesy snacks, the food company has developed several new songs for you. According to Billboard, Marvel has partnered with Doritos for new soundtracks, including Parliament, Fleetwood Mac, George Harrison, and Electric Light Orchestra.

The duo will promote “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2” through the Rock Out Loud campaign. It features both the old and new soundtracks, including Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain, Parliament’s Flash Light, George Harrison’s My Sweet Lord, Glen Campbell’s Southern Nights, and Silver’s Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang.

The custom bag will be available for sale online from April 28. Hasbro, Funko, Lego, and LB Kids are partners in the promotion campaign.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’

Guardians of the Galaxy 2” is one of the most anticipated Hollywood movies. It is a sequel to 2014 blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and the sixteenth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Studios has fully financed the project, while Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures acquired the US distribution rights for $60 million. The film is directed and written by James Gunn. The cast includes Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Elizabeth Debicki, Sylvester Stallone, Bradley Cooper, and Sean Gunn.

Kurt Russell and Chris Sullivan play the supporting roles.

Production and release date

The movie was officially announced in 2014 at the San Diego Comic-Con International, while its title was finalized in July 2015. Principal photography began in March 2016 in Georgia and concluded in August 2016.

In June 2014, The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger recruited James Gunn to direct and write the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2” premiered in China and Tokyo earlier this month and will be released in the US on May 5.

Bob Iger says the movie will be out in IMAX 3D and DVD.

Pre-shooting began in February 2016, with Henry Braham and Scott Chambliss serving as cinematographers. In September 2016, a 2-minute teaser trailer was released, showing the new characters in the film. Esther Zuckerman at The A.V. Club has called it "an action movie with lots of visuals.”

According to the media-measurement firm, comScore, the first trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2” generated 128,000 YouTube views in its first two days. The second teaser trailer aired during Super Bowl LI, and Germain Lussier called it "a hilarious movie.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2” is expected to earn more than $140 million in its opening weekend and a total of $800 million by the end of its run.
