Following the successful live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast," fans are once again wondering about the release of "Frozen 2."

Producer Peter Del Vecho previously revealed that they are working hard on the film and it was already in the development writing process. He also teased that the upcoming movie will help viewers have a better understanding of the first movie.

The official Twitter account of Disney just shared exciting news about "Frozen 2" saying that it is coming to the Big Screen on November 27, 2019. Fans will once again see their favorite characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and the sweet snowman Olaf. Now that the movie is confirmed, more speculations about its storyline will surely emerge.

Theories and speculations about plot

Prior to this confirmation from Disney, there had been many theories about what will happen in the show's next film. One famous theory is that Elsa will find love in a woman since she is a lesbian. Others are also saying that Anna will acquire some kind of power that will counter Elsa's.

Some speculate that Elsa will become a villain and that Tarzan will be joining the sequel as the lost brother of the sisters. It is noted that there have been theories that their parent's ship was swept to an island where they gave birth to Tarzan which means that Tarzan is also an Arendelle royalty. But all these are mere speculations and are not yet confirmed.

Cast tweet about release

With the announcement of Disney, everyone was very excited, including the cast of the show. Idina Menzel who is the voice actress for Elsa tweeted that it is happening and all her Elsas are saying "ho!"

Kristen Bell, Princess Anna, also revealed on Twitter that the theaters will be Frozen during the film's release date.

Josh Gad, Olaf, also encouraged fans to mark their calendars on the said date.

Other movie releases

Aside from "Frozen 2," Disney also revealed the complete list of release dates for live-action "Lion King" and "Star Wars: Episode IX." Meanwhile, openings for "Wreck-It Ralph 2," “Wrinkle in Time,” "Indiana Jones" and others have been delayed.

Upcoming films this 2017 are "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" on May 5, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" on May 26, and "Cars 3" on June 16. Also coming to theaters in the last quarter of 2017 are "Thor: Ragnarok" on Nov. 3, "Coco" on Nov. 22 and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
