Fans of the show "Sons Of Guns" were shocked when news came out that Will Hayden was charged with rape. Now Radar Online is sharing that he was actually found guilty on these shocking charges. This was charges against Will for allegedly raping two different preteen girls, and they happened decades apart.
What went down with Will Hayden of "Sons of Guns"?
It turns out that Will Hayden was convicted by the jury on Friday and it was a unanimous conviction. The victims were a 15-year-old girl and 37-year-old woman who actually cried and hugged inside the courtroom as the verdicts were read.
They were there to see that Will Hayden would be going to jail for the things he did to them. The older victim said that Will did this to her back in the 90s and she was around twelve of thirteen at the time of the sexual assault. The other victim said that she was twelve and it happened to her in 2014.
The victims and their families did not speak to the media at all. They might change their mind later on, but for now, they are staying quiet. D.A. Moore did speak out for one of the victims though saying, “This was a young child that was raped at a very young age, and she chose to testify in front of the jury, in front of her abuser, and she actually threw up five times while testifying.” It had to be really hard for her to get up in front of everyone and do this, but she pushed through.
Hayden was found guilty on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of forcible rape. He won't actually be sentenced until May 11, but it sounds like he will be going to prison regardless. The thing is aggravated rape carries a mandatory sentence of Life In Prison. It doesn't look like there is any way that Will is going to get out of spending the rest of his life in prison for these charges.
Back in 2014, the show "Sons of Guns" was actually canceled by Discovery. It appears that it was done because of these charges. This is not the first reality show to be canceled over something like this happening. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was canceled by TLC because Mama June was allegedly dating someone that had been convicted of sexual charges.
Then "19 Kids and Counting" was also canceled due to a sex scandal that came out about Josh Duggar. The show was later brought back as "Counting On," but Josh isn't on it at all and it is mainly about the older daughters and sons and how their lives are going now.
