"The Vampire Diaries" is ending on Friday. At 10pm, it will all be over and the vampire show will have aired its final credits. While all this is sad, all good things must come to an end. After a disastrous season 7, there's no denying that fans were shocked to hear that the show had been renewed. It was for one last season -- 16 episodes of goodness and they certainly haven't disappointed.

Familiar faces have returned and the Steroline wedding happened. Now here are three things that have to happen in the Series Finale.

Happy endings for as many as possible

We know that one main character is going to die. It's unclear right now which main character that will be, but bets are on for Stefan, Damon, Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie. There are good arguments for all. Regardless of this news, "The Vampire Diaries" fans need to see some type of happy ending for all of them. Delena fans need to see Damon and Elena get at least one moment together, while Benzo fans need to see Bonnie and Enzo reunited.

We can't forget about Alaric, who deserves some sort of happiness after all these years.

Sisterhood and bromance moments

"TVD" season 8 has focused too much on the Salvatore brothers to not have a moment between them in the final episode. They need to both say "I love you" in the same scene, meaning every word they say. At the same time, fans need to see a Caroline/Bonnie/Elena moment that is similar to the seasons 1-3 feeling. Its been too long since the three have shared screen time.

More familiar faces in 'The Vampire Diaries' finale

There may have been some familiar faces already, but they're not enough. Fans need to see more. There are rumors that David Anders and Steven R. McQueen will return, meaning John and Jeremy Gilbert will appear in Mystic Falls.

We also want Sara Canning's Aunt Jenna and Marguerite McIntyre's Sheriff Forbes to appear. Death isn't holding anyone back. While we're on the subject, could we please have a Klaroline moment?

There are just three days left until the series finale. The usual timeslot is taken up by a goodbye special, and "The Vampire Diaries" series finale will air at 9/8c on the CW.
