Rachel Lindsay may not have found love with Nick Viall on this past season of “The Bachelor,” but she is certainly enjoying life. The attorney, who quickly became a fan favorite, (and received a first impression rose from Nick!) has recently started filming her season of “The Bachelorette.” The season will begin airing in May.
Group date news
According to Us Weekly, Rachel will take ten men of a special basketball themed date this season. The date, which is said to have filmed this past week, will have the guys participating in a basketball game with none other than legendary NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
There are not many details on the date revealed, but it is said that the guys, Rachel, and the legendary basketball player interacted with fans and even took the time to shoot hoops with them during the filming. The show also tweeted a few pictures from the date, including one of an autographed basketball.
What else to expect this season
Rachel’s season has already had an unusual start. She had the unique opportunity to meet four of her men during the “After The Final Rose” ceremony, which aired March 13. The guys already seem smitten with her, and from the looks of it, they also made quite an impression. As for other season spoilers, Reality Steve has revealed that the show has filmed at least one on one date, as well as another group date.
The latter will take place on a Malibu Wine Safari, where the men will participate in a Domestic Obstacle Course.
There were not many details on the one on one, but it is said that there was dinner involved. The show also posted several teaser pictures from both dates on the show's official Twitter page. Other episodes will include lots of traveling, including to South Carolina.
Reality Steve says the episodes will film there starting next week, but no further details were available. It is also unknown as to where Rachel and her suitors will be going for future dates and the final rose ceremony. The show has previously filmed the latter in locations such as Finland and Switzerland.
"The Bachelorette" will air Mondays at 8 pm in May, only on ABC.
