Selena Gomez and The Weeknd confirmed their romance in January

Months after Selena Gomez took a few months off following struggles with anxiety, depression and panic attacks, she and The Weeknd confirmed their romance with a PDA-filled outing at the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California. At the time, The Weeknd was newly single after splitting from model Bella Hadid two months prior.

In the weeks that followed Gomez and The Weeknd's public debut, the couple enjoyed numerous outings together, some of which took place in Los Angeles with friends and others in Italy, where they enjoyed some sightseeing in Venice and Florence.

Then, at the end of last month, Gomez and her model friend, Sara Sampaio, were seen enjoying The Weeknd's show in Paris. A while later, the new couple turned up at La Reserve for a few drinks.

Selena Gomez's family is keeping tabs on the singer

As Gomez's new romance continues, her mother, Mandy Teefy, is reportedly keeping close tabs on her.

As for her relationship, they definitely don't want to see her get her heart broken. "[Selena Gomez]’s in such a good place they would hate to see her sad,” the Hollywood Life source said. Hopefully, that won't be what happens.
