"Riverdale" has quickly become a hit. After debuting in January, the CW network just announced that they have renewed the show for a second season. According to E! Online, it is the second highest show in terms of viewers for the CW (not including the superhero shows), with "Supernatural" being the only show beating it. With the news of a renewal, fans are incredibly excited about where things are headed.

More Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead on the way!

There is so much that can happen now that the Season 2 has been confirmed. Only six episodes have aired, but they have fans hooked and waiting for more.

Archie and Veronica have started something, despite the fact that Betty has been in love with him for years. Jughead has wormed his way into spending a lot of time with Betty as they search for who murdered Jason. Could they hook-up after that kiss? Because the story is centered around these four, there will be plenty more questions before answers seem to be given.

Several shady things have been happening, and the connections are starting to be made. Jughead's father is the leader of the street gang, the one that is pressing Veronica's mother for something. All of the teen's parents obviously grew up together, making it hard for them not to butt into what is happening with their child when they are hanging out.

Betty's mother is the most overbearing, and that is highly suspicious!

Who killed Jason?

There has been a lot of speculation about who killed Jason and why. Clearly, someone wanted him dead and the more that it gets investigated, the more it looks like Betty's mother and father had something to do with it. Recently, viewers found out her sister is pregnant with Jason's child.

She was sent off to live in a home but no one was informed she was pregnant, not even Betty. With a plan to run off together in place, Jason was killed before they had the chance.

As Season 1 of "Riverdale" comes to an end this spring, fans are excited they have something to look forward to in the fall. As long as viewership stays up, this show could have a lasting life.
