Hey, "Supergirl" fans. We've got some wild, new spoiler scoops for the upcoming episode 17 of season 2 of your favorite show ,straight from The CW promotions team. They gave us a press release that reveals, we're going to see some very mean aliens, show up to attack National City, because they are hell bent on capturing Supergirl! We also might see some tension arise between Alex and Maggie when they run into Maggie's ex-girlfriend, and more.

It's "Distant Sun"

They also revealed that the producers, gave this thing the title: "Distant Sun." To kick off their new, official synopsis, they let us know that former Wonder Woman star, Linda Carter, is returning in this episode to reprise her role as President Marsdin, so look for some more presidential action to take place at some point.

She's getting hunted

Next, we learn that someone is going to put out a really large bounty on Supergirl, which will prompt some aliens from both far and near to show up in National City. When they arrive, they will begin launching some attacks as they go in search of capturing Supergirl. Will she be able to escape this alien onslaught? Or will these new enemies get exactly what they came for? Unfortunately, the press release didn't reveal any of that, but we might see some extra information in the new promo clip that's expected to release after episode 16 airs ,tonight, so be on the lookout for that.

Emily's here

Elsewhere, we're going to see a situation, go down with Alex and Maggie when they run into some new chick, named Emily.

They describe Emily as being Maggie's ex-girlfriend. She'll be played by guest star, Hayley Sales. They say, she's just a guest star, so it doesn't sound like she'll be in the picture for too long, However, it does sound like she might cause a bit of drama while she's there. They say that Emily will be in National City for a week, so we'll see how that plays out.

Will Emily cause some issues for the new, budding couple? Or will she just say, hi, and be on her marry, little way? Those are the burning questions for this situation.

Hank's new order

Lastly, we've got this final teaser that reveals, we'll be seeing Hank in action at some point. Apparently, he's going to get an order from President Marsdin, and they're describing this so-called order as "interesting." What could this order be?

Will Hank go ahead and accept it? Or will he refuse? It'll be interesting to find out what that's all about. They brought in Kevin Smith to direct this one, and the writing team of: Gabriel Llanas and Anna Musky-Goldwyn to pen the script. We can also confirm that episode 17 is set to air on Monday night, March 27th, 2017 at 7pm central time on The CW. Stay tuned.
