Lady Gaga confirmed on February 28, 2017, that she would be replacing Beyonce at the Coachella Valley Music Arts Festival. The starlet revealed this news through her official social networking handle by posting the newly released Coachella poster and captioned it, "Let's party in the desert."
The replacement news surfaced weeks after the release of Gaga's critically acclaimed Super Bowl LI halftime which has an approximate production value of $10 million. As of now, Gaga's representatives have not commented on the developments.

Beyonce, who is now pregnant with twins announced that she would not be performing at the festival as per the advice of her doctors. Reportedly, the doctors have suggested Beyonce to stay away from a rigorous schedule, as it will negatively impact her health. It is expected that Beyonce will headline the festival in 2018. Coachella organizers, AEG Live and Goldenvoice, were quite keen to have a lady substitute for the show, and finally, they zeroed in Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga will headline the festival on April 15 and 22 Saturday nights, thus becoming the first lady to headline the festival since Bjork in 2007. It has been confirmed that English rock band Radiohead will perform on April 14 and 22.

After her appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Lady Gaga will kickstart her Joanne World Tour on August 01, 2017 at the at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Gaga will conduct shows in The Forum in Inglewood California, The Verizon Center in Washington, American Airlines Arena, and will finally end up in the Salt Lake City on December 14, 2017.
