With 2017 already off to a good start, fans are excited to see more details about the much-awaited “Game of Thrones Season 7. Although a little bit scarce, HBO didn’t fail to give small teasers to the show’s avid followers as it recently unveiled promotional art. The first official teaser photo from HBO was revealed at the recent “Game of Thrones” panel at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. The event was graced by the epic fantasy series’ showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, along with the show’s stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams.

New promotional photo teases ice vs. fire war

The new teaser snap hints at a battle between fire and ice. As Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is about to come to King’s Landing, there are strong assumptions that they are about to meet the White Walkers from Beyond the Wall. However, the latest teaser poster didn’t indicate “Game of Thrones” Season 7's official air date. HBO has yet to announce the return of the series based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire." Instead, the network often says that it will be seen in the summer.

Bran’s future and fate

Meanwhile, Isaac Hempstead Wright talked about his character of Bran Stark. The last trueborn of Eddard Stark (Sean Bean) and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) is now following his fate as the Three-Eyed Raven and doesn’t know what to do with the revelation he saw.

Bran now knows that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is not an illegitimate child of his father, but the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen instead. The 17-year-old star revealed that his character is very confused: is he going to reveal the truth to Jon Snow? “The Awakening” star even feels hopeless for Bran as he is only out there with Meera (Ellie Kendrick).

“He’s out in the middle of nowhere, so it’s not looking great," he told Entertainment Weekly at the “Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience."

“Bran has certainly understood that this is out of his control now. He’s a piece on the chessboard that has to make a move, and he hasn’t got any moves," he added.
