It is very obvious that Jack's death is coming soon on "This Is Us" and now chrissy metz, who plays Kate, is speaking out about her thoughts on the way he dies. It has really seemed like something is going on and that Kate is involved in the death. Last week she told Toby that it was her fault, but nobody knows why she feels that way just yet.
Chrissy says she is "Surprised and Saddened" by how he dies
Last week, Jack was seen leaving to go see his wife after he had been drinking. She is out on tour, and he got someone to keep the kids for the night.
There is a lot of speculation about how he dies, but fans think now that it has to do with drinking and maybe a crash. Kate did tell her dad to fix his marriage, so that could be the reason she feels responsible, but nobody knows just yet.
It has already been revealed that Jack's death won't air this season. It does sound like it will air next season, though. Chrissy shared saying, "You’re going to have to wait a little bit, but it does answer some really important questions. And not ones that you're expecting."
Chrissy Metz revealed that when she found out how Jack dies, it wasn't the way that she thought it was going to be. She had predicted her own way, and that wasn't the case. Chrissy said, "I was so surprised and saddened — not just because he passed but the way he did." If Chrissy was that shocked by it, then the fans will probably feel that way as well.
Because of the way that "This Is Us" is when it airs, Jack won't be gone when he dies. They show a lot of memories from when the kids were really young and then also the present day where he is already gone. The death of Jack will be hard on everyone, but he will still be around on the show.
